Developed in collaboration with the editorial and sales departments, The American Nile was developed using HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript while using a custom parallax jQuery library.

The project received hundreds of awards upon launch, record web traffic (120 million views in the first month) and was used by lawmakers in their successful plea to increase funding for the areas negatively affected by the decline of the Colorado River.
